1. Introduction

Smart PDF Reader & Editor ("the Application") is built as a Free app by RS Gulshan Prajapati (Gulshan Digital Zone). This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as is. We take your privacy seriously and have designed this app to operate entirely offline for your security.

2. Information Collection and Use

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or the content of your PDF files to our servers. All document processing (reading, merging, compressing, etc.) happens locally on your mobile device.

Permissions Required for Core Functionality:

MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access)

To provide advanced PDF editing tools such as Merging multiple files, Compressing files to save space, Renaming, and Deleting files outside the app's private folder, this permission is strictly necessary. It also enables the "Duplicate File Finder" and "Large File Finder" features.

CAMERA

Required for the "Scan to PDF" feature to capture images of physical documents for conversion.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you for technical purposes only:

Google Play Services: Required for app functionality and licensing.
Firebase Crashlytics: Used to monitor app stability and collect anonymous crash reports to improve performance.

4. Children’s Privacy

This Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Since we do not collect any user data, this app is safe for all age groups.

5. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us access to your files. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Since our app works offline, your data's security depends on your device's security.

6. Data Deletion Policy

Since we do not collect or store any user data on our servers, there is no data to delete. Any files you create or modify within the app stay on your device and can be deleted by you at any time.

2. License & Usage

You are not allowed to copy, or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You are not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app.

Important: You are responsible for the content of the PDF files you process. Do not use the app for any illegal activities or to process copyrighted material without permission.

3. Limitation of Liability

While we aim to provide reliable tools, RS Gulshan Prajapati will not be liable for any loss of data or corruption of files that may occur during the use of PDF tools (Compress, Merge, etc.). Users are strongly advised to maintain backups of important documents.

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
